A Time Machine: Heinz History Center

Going to the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh was like stepping into a time machine.

I witnessed a powerful story stamped in every item.

Inspiring to say the least.

A story of perseverance and creativity. A story that shows us that dreaming is not only a selfish necessity but a communal service.

Going to Heinz and being immersed in it, showed me that a simple idea can be an incredible one. Making something big out of the most basic ingredients.

Products that are recognized and used worldwide till this day. A story that has transcended time, space, and history. A story about the power of branding and marketing.

It gives hope and purpose to what imagination can create. What Simple ideas can become when there’s enough grit to take the next step, which is what life is all about.

Life: A playground where you can create anything you desire. The caveat? Having guts to believe in yourself. To believe you can create and execute anything you would ever want in life, and to have the freedom to let it go, and let it take a life of its own. Leaving the ego behind.

Once you create work, it’s not yours. It’s for people to experience it if they decide to do so. It’s not about you, it’s about what inspired you from the outside, and how you process it through your own personal and artistic vision to throw it back into the world for people to experience it.

It’s a never ending cycle that is meant to be like a spiral. No control, not yours, but OURS.

Art is ours, not mine, not yours.

An empowering and inspiring story of bravery powered by enough action. Because at the end of the day, life is all about what you do, and not what held you back. But all the moments of intense bravery you have and what happens then.

That is it.

Below are some of the photos I took that mean something out of experiencing this place.
